Introduction

Theletters.org is a collection of letters, thoughts, images, and ideas about anything under the sun sent to us exclusively by our users, which we then publish on the site. This is a space where you can post special letters you wrote but never sent, thoughts you keep in your head but couldn't say, ideas you want to share but don't know how. It is a place to post the most painful to the most mundane things in your life and read others. This site is meant to be moderately amusing, averagely touching, and occasionally thought-provoking.

Who's behind theletters.org?

We are. We are assisted by computers, food, water, and occasional opportunity to sleep. Also by a diligent team of elephants specially trained to replace "i" with "I" and "its" with "it's" when needed.

What's this site all about?

We've been over this.

How does it work?

Quite simply: each user can contribute to the site and submit their own story by clicking on the "Submit" link in the menu at the top of the page. To be published, your story will be put through an extensive editing system and quality control team.

It will be thrown in the middle of a field and where a marching band is waiting. Then it will be subjected to a beating by a team of MMA professionals. After which, you submission will be required to do perform 439 push-ups, 529 sit-ups, and a full marathon which must be completed in under three hours.

We will then allow your story to rest for a full hour taking an abstract, math and ancient Greek literature exam.
